Buttons

I'm not sure this is so much tech support as its an ergonomic, eyesight issue:
Recently my eyesight is getting worse as I am getting a bit older...[:D]
For some reason the "buttons" for selection are a shade of blue in the game- just the words. Its not like its all that contrasting or appears different than the surrounding text. So its hard to see all the available selections on a screen without carefully scanning the text. Can there be a patch or an alternate download to add either a box around the available selections or at least a drop shadow?
Being a middle age male, I am sure others may be experiencing the same issues as I am and not the only one.
