Lack of encryption when inputting credit card info

Hi

I tried sending an email to matrix support, but they haven't answered in 10 hours, so I'll try this place instead.

I decided to buy Distant Worlds + the expansion today, but when I was about to enter my credit card info in the checkout, I noticed that the page does not have any SSL-encryption or encryption whatsoever. I find this very odd and I'm very hesitant to input that kind of info on a unsecured line. Anyone else notice this or know if this is a bug?

Replies appreciated.

Just so you know, this is the UNOFFICIAL Tech Support Forum, most input comes from us gamers.

That said, Erik (Matrix) has posted responses to others that had the same issue. I believe if you search the War In The East forum you will find a recent thread answering it. If I remember corrrectly he states that your data is SECURED when ordering.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping someone like you had come across it somewhere. And I was right! Thanks!

But I must be daft or something, because whatever I try to search on, I get no search results whatsoever.

Search is not working right now for some reason. I tried Safari and IE8. Search by member name does work however.

Yeah, got it sorted when I rightclicked the frame where you input the info. It IS secure.

Bought and downloaded!

Thanks a bunch.
