I played the Road to Moscow scenario on normal (all defaults) as the Germans. I think I did pretty good- here's a screenshot at the end of turn 15. The only Soviets left on the map are in the extreme SE corner, and I've got them trapped. Next turn I'd mop them up, too, but the game crashes at the AI 1 1 step.

I think I need to go up to Challenging.

Save would really help to find out what's going on.

Here you go. There's a Soviet HQ 1 hex out of the playable area, which is weird.

Ai has obvious troubles to calculate paths in such situation. There must be some early victory event in short scenarios to avoid such problems.
