Winter Wonderland Map Mod (WIP)

Hi. Please take a look at this thread in the Tech forum (
tm.asp?m=2660890) for more info on this 'hasty' mod of the map. I am using this background during winter turns with weather graphics OFF - I don't like the way they cover up the lovely map and they were hitting my performance as well.
If there is interest I am happy to share this simple mod, as well as the Spring/Autumn Mod I plan to work on next.

It's actually very easy to mod and you could quickly use your own preferred colours to do a basic mod. I am now playing with the rivers to see if I can keep them blue in the Spring/Autumn version...

Here's a first pass at Autumn/Spring. Not a Mud map, but a seasonal map that suggests "think about mud and check the weather situation"... Comments?
