Impact of admin points increase on the grand campaign PBEM

Hi guys,

Need some advice for the following. In the designers notes of the manual there is a mention that the reason for admin points being limited, is more to limit the micro management of the game and that players should feel free to increase if they are so inclined. I'm wondering though, since forts and other units need and other actions (leaders, etc...) the expenditure of AP's, whether a too large of an increase would not upset the balance of the GC.

Is there any advice concerning the increase of AP's? What is too much and what would be just enough?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Glenn

It will make a big difference in how quickly the Red Army upgrades.

The good stuff, like artillery divisions, rifle, tank and mech corps, all cost APs to build. So be very careful. I don't think the Axis are nearly as sensitive to AP increases, they aren't very stressed on APs in comparison.

AP's at normal/100% are fine I'd say.

The main difference in the effect for the Axis and the Soviets is that the Axis can only use AP's to improve efficiency through leader and support unit reassignments as well as the construction of fortified zones as garrisons, whilst the Soviets need AP's to build units, so more AP's will more or less automatically result in a better Soviet army.
