Game manual frustrations, etc.

I read the feature list suggestions thread started by Rocketman. Vic's last comment was that he was focusing on his next game, and DC was taking a back seat for a while.

Well, how about at least making a manual that explains how to play your BRAND NEW game, instead of dropping development and moving on. This is seriously one of the worst strategy game manuals I have read, at least of the games I've bought. I'm not trying to be mean or attack anyone, especially the developer, because this looks like a GREAT game. But I don't know how to play it.

Here's the manual: Attacking - you can attack units and do damage to them. Then there's a bunch of charts that may be somewhat helpful, but still doesn't explain in detail the attacking process, and what things mean. Airstrikes - you can launch airstrikes to attack the enemey. Artillery - works same as airstrikes. Attack the enemy with them.

There is NOTHING that explains in detail what all the icons on the counters mean. This alone is unforgiveable. Nothing that explains in depth how the card system works AT ALL.

So, please, can we get a real manual that is useful in explaining in detail the systems of this game, and how things work step-by-step? I am VERY frustrated with this purchase. I know there's an awesome game here, but the manual as it is makes me regret my purchase completely.

Ok, I read the section on attacking again, and it is pretty straightforward. But supply could be explained in much better detail. And the biggest problem I see, is again, the lack of explanation of what ALL the icons, dots, dashes, symbols, and letters mean on the counters. And also what the detailed information means when units are clicked on.

I agree that the manual could use some work, but a lot of questions have already been answered here in the forums. I also know that people shouldn't have to go to the forums to find out how to play a game they bought, but a few minutes spent searching the forums will probably answer most peoples questions, and if not, Vic and the players have been pretty good answering peoples questions.
