Range of Carrier-based A/C?

Hi,
maybe I missed something, but I am not able to see the range of Carrier-based A/C on the map (like the range-circles for the LBA). It would be good to know, how close (or far) I can place my Carrier-TFs to a target aree and still reach it with my different Bombers.
Hope that somebody can shed some light on this for me.
Thanks in advance
Oliver

Hi, Click on a CV, now click on airgroup, ranges are listed mid screen below picture. Normal and extended ranges. Extended ranges reduce bomb load and torpedo planes carry iron bombs rather then torpedos.

Hi Mogami,
thanks for your answer. Maybe my question was a little bit misleading - I am looking for a graphical representation of the A7C-range (range circles) on the map, like the one you get for the LBAs. Counting the hexes (I use the map without the hex-grid) is a rather complicated method to plan attacks.

How 'bout a hotkey?

Just a shot in the dark, but...
Did you try hitting the F3 key? It toggles Plane Range Radius on/off. You might have accidentally shut the plane ranges off while you were playing before.
Check one of the PDF files that came with the manual; lots of helpful hotkeys in there.

Hi,
thanks to everyone for your replies!
I will check again the F3-key, but I am very sure that I enabled the "aircraft range circles", because I do have aircraft range circles when I click on an airfield, but I don't have these aircraft range circles when I click on a TF that contains CVs. I want these circles to get a visual clue how far away from a possible target I can place my carriers.
Maybe this function does not exists - if it is so, I think it would be a good suggestion for a possible improvement (Hint!).
Ideally you would see the TF symbol at the bottom of the screen and symbols for all the airgroups within this TF (like it is done with an land-base and its planes). You were able to select an air group and the the respective range circle on the map.

From my experience AC range circles are only shown at bases. I agree it would be helpful to have that info for CV based AC also.
