I've just installed the latest beta (v340201) and at the end of the installation I get this message: "Windows script host access is disabled on this machine. Contact your administrator for details." The patch seems to have installed well, though.

I was wondering what the TOAW beta patch (installer) needs the Windows script host access for?

I've been using my comp for 4 years now, playing lots of games and using lots of programs always with the Windows script host access being off, and not a single program had problems with it.

This is the first time that an application has had a problem with the fact that it was off.

Do you think I should turn it on and re-install the patch?

Not seen that one meself. I would have to wonder why too. Maybe it's one of those times Window$ is so smart it makes a wrong assumption. If the game runs, what the heck. [:)]
