Just think of the enemies defense like that a stong hold pointing in all directions taking up four hexes sides either surrounded by mines or one free space that is skiped to lule you into the next group of defenses. Very nicely planed and set up. My hat off to this advesary. It will not save him. But he has earned my respect.

Well sir I am happy to report that the infantry have taken out 3 caves, 3 Steal AT bunkers, a platoon of B's infantry. And we have issolated a number of caves and AT bunkers.

You see that Japs they just refuse to give up. Silly it is. But we will oblige there wishes. Kind of sad. But it makes for a long battle.

We will continue to push ahead and move in force. With all the mines we will have to reload the M3 Flame's soon. That is not so good. It will take away our initiative.

The American forces move forward and position for the breaching of the next line of defenses.
