Mouse problems with saved games

I've noticed that after saving a partially completed scenario several times (<5), when I open the game and begin to play, the mouse works fine as long as the game is in 'pause' but as soon as the time is running in regular speed, the mouse disappears behind all of the windows and can't be recovered. Hence, I can never finish a scenario that takes more than two sessions to complete. Is there an easy solution to this problem? I am using Windows 7, playing the latest version of ANW 3.10, on a laptop with an Intel Duo Core2. I have more than enough hard drive and memory per the specs. Richard
