Noob, where to start?

Well I'm new to the game and I feel a bit lost as the "work" seems overwhelming especially at the start where everything has to be set-up like auto-convoy, resource/supply convoys, etc..
Are there any guides I could/should follow, especially for the start?
Are there tools besides the WitPTracker I should use?
Is there a wiki or some other source besides the manual for game information?

The best place to start is playing one of the smaller scenarios like Guadalcanal. You won't have to worry about production, auto-convoys (unless you want to), and other facets of the game you'll find in the full campaigns. The smaller scenarios let you focus on the game mechanics of moving task forces, amphibious landings, and air warfare. After you get the feel of that, you can move into the full campaign.

The best place to look for advice is right here in the forums. There are several threads that focus on elements of the game that noobies like you and me need to know.

Welcome, and good luck!

The first 5 pages of this AAR has been my guide.
The videos on pad152´s second link are also very helpful.

Hello

I read the Manuel a little bit and start simply to play the game..that’s may way to start. But i also made a huge amount of mistakes..but that’s my way of learning. If a there is a problem or something not clear to me how it works I took the manual or searched here in the forum.

I think the Witp-AE Video Tutes from http://sites.google.com/site/n01487477/Home?pli=1 are nice :) n01487477 did a great job.
