I suggest that a Supply Line be drawn from a supply unit to the SEP.

Below I have written a summary of how supply works. Is my understanding correct?

A unit receives supply from a supply base. A supply base is a unit much like other units. It can be given orders and be moved about the map.

Most scenarios have 2 or more supply bases. The tutorial scenario has only 1 supply base.

To determine which supply base is supplying any unit, click on the unit, then, on the toolbar, select “supply lines”. A line is drawn to the supply base.

Supplies enter the map at a Supply Entry Point “SEP”. Usually, SEPs are near to the edges of the map. If an SEP is an airfield or an airdrop it could be anywhere on the map.

The SEP is just an icon on the map. It is not a unit.

Supplies move from the SEP, to the supply base then to the front line troops.

Each combat unit makes a request to the supply base twice a day at 06:00 hours and at 18:00 hours. There are some cases where there is only one request per day at 18:00 hours. This is because without air superiority, the supplies need to be sent under cover of darkness.

Units will sometimes make emergency requests and can do so at any time day or night. These requests are made whenever a unit has less than 50% of fuel, 50% ammo or 33% of basics. Note that basics are constantly being used up.


When the depot receives any requests it prioritises the requests as follows:

In this way, the player has some say on which units get resupplied first.

Note that units are renowned for requesting more supplies than are available so that often units will receive less than requested.

Supply trucks are sent out (and return) constantly over a 24 hour period – except for those that only travel at night. The resupply of any unit could occur at any time.

If the supply base is nearer to the front line, the supplies arrive at the front line that much sooner. If a supply base is moved, it cannot dispatch supplies while it is moving. After a base has been moved it takes considerable time to re-deploy. It cannot dispatch supplies till redploy is complete.

I thought there was.

No, just unit to unit.

If a Supply Entry Point is active it will show a green, red, or orange line to the bases it is supplying, just as if it was a base. It helps to filter out all but bases when visualizing.

There also needs to have been at least 1 resupply event occurring since the SEP became active or the base entered the game. These resupply events usually occur around 0600 and 1800 hrs.
