I want to say I really enjoy Distant Worlds. However I am having an issue in downloading the expansion: Return of the Shakturi. I had asked Plimus Support about this and on by the third try ([&:]) they finally realized that I was not able to get a link (They had been sending me messages that the link was reset). All I would see after clicking on the link to download the expansion/game would be a series of letters. They have now as of yesterday sent a message to the Vendor...Code Force/and or Matrix Games about sending me a new link. Question, has anyone had this problem? And how long did one have to wait before one would receive a new link.

i pesonally never heard of something similar, hope you'll get it soon
do you have the serial number for ROTS? i think you can download it from Matrix directly if you do

I am also having this problem - I am being sent an invalid link for ROTS. In IE if I click on the link I see a series of letters. In Firefox it downloads the EXE but it is a 17 byte file. On viewing it is ... the same sequence of letters. Also raised with Customer Support.

Hi, Good to know I am not only one, but it is a shame we have this issue. Well it has been a few days now and no new link. I was told by Plimus Support on 01/19/2011, to let them know if I had not heard anything in two business days. Well I have so informed them as of last night 01/21/2011. No word as of today of course since it is the weekend. Maybe, I will hear something by the beginning of next week. We shall see...[;)]

Plimus has informed me that the issue has been resolved and all customers experiencing this issue should receive a new download link to obtain their product. If you do not get an email from Plimus over the next couple of days please PM me and I will help you.
