OOB

Hi all,

I am playing the game now as from last Christmas, love it but still feels like i'm in training with it. Hardest part for me is keeping track of units within their order of battle. When the fighting or moving starts I constantly monitor and scrolling the OOB on the left in order to maintain some overview who is who en who is with who.

Any hints?

Thanks.

Hi Sybma,

I rarely use the OOB feature, except to select an HQ that's buried under a bunch of units on entry. That may be because I know the OOB's so well but perhaps not.

Select a unit and try following the green command lines from the unit to it's HQ, to it's HQ and so on. It may be less confusing to just stay in "player structure" for the OOB view because it shows green lines between units as they are currently attached/detached during play. That may sound confusing, but it's described fairly well in the manual.

On the toolbar, select Commmand Lines.

Then, on the toolbar, select the OOB button.  Press the button a number of times. See the green lines move between the 3 choices:

Organic structure
Player structure
Current Plan structure
