I have Vista 64 and I can not seem to get Microsoft VM installed. I run msjavwu.exe it runs and says it is installed. But, I get the error: Unable to start the application--the Java Virtual Machine cannot be loaded. Class not registered, when I try and run the MM CIII Client from the Command Center.

Any help? Thanks!

More info: I was able to install it on a Win7 64 machine, go the warning of course of incompatibility but went ahead and it worked.

But, I know notice that the Vista 64 didn't actually complete even though it said it did when compared to the Vista 64 version.

Still any way to get it to install correctly on Vista 64?

Thanks.

hmmm..

I have java running fine on my Vista 64 machine and can play MMCC3 fine.

try installiung and running in compatibility mode and with admin. privileges.

access these options by right clicking on the apps.

Yeah it so strange. It gives me eula warning, I click ok and it goes straight to saying the installation is complete without actually installed it. I've tried the WinXp compt. mode but it did the same thing. Any ideas how to get this to actually install? Thanks.

I even tried to install in Safe Mode... must be a conflict with some other OS installation, perhaps preventing it from installing fully.

Fixed the problem and wanted to share just in case anyone else ran into this issue with Vista 64 and msjavwu.exe.

Basically you have extract the files in msjavwu.exe manually just like you would a .zip or .rar file. Once you do that you can install Ms Java by running the executable named: javatrig.exe

It installs no problem and then MMCCIII will run.
