So, did anyone else see it, and what did you think?

This is the second one of this series I saw. Missed the Gulf War & Golan episodes but saw last week's episode about N Africa. Think the Bulge show was much better. Liked the stories the German & American tankers told. A few minor inaccuracies but not enough to take away from what I thought was a pretty good show. Look forward to seeing what they have for next week.

This episode had more personal recountings, but some of the tales from the Sherman tanker bordered on the incredulous.

I thought the same thing. Maybe 60+ years after the event the details might be a little fuzzy but I'm willing to give the old vet the benefit of the doubt.

Some of those old vets need to be vetted.

My late dad was once at an annual reunion of his TD outfit when one of the members related a tale about how he was in a barn and shot a bazooka at a German!

My dad called him a liar because the backblast from the rocket would have set the hay and the barn on fire.

The local newspaper was told so many unbelievable stories from these guys that eventually it even refused to run annoucements for the TD's next reunion.
