Well figured I wanted some new ships for myself so I would have another crack at a terran/human/hairless ape shipset. Half of them are the terran race from X3TC with the others comming from a mod of legendary proportions by a guy nicked 'Cadius' on egosofts forums. If anyone hasn't seen his work it's more than worth checking out.

So first up then capital class vessel, based on the nagoya heavy battleship. Haven't got my full productive cap on so might take a while to fully finish this set.

wow, I really like the blurry yet detailed look. Somehow it gives the feeling of looking at a classified intelligence report. Not sure how that would work out in-game though

Decided with some of these that reducing them in size looses abit too much detail so there will be a standard 300x300 max for all the ships. However for some of them there will be a much larger version, obviously these will be abit of a hog for large empires so I won't be doing it for freighters and such only certain military ships.

Just finished up with the destroyer and frigate models, destroyer top.

They look great, feygan. I really like the destroyer with it's pods. Was there a design purpose behind those?

In a way yes, I always tend to use my destroyer class ships as missle boats, so with this one it fitted nicely to have the two large pods as missle launch bays. Kind of similar to the apache hellfire launchers.

Cool. I think that really adds to the ships character if it has some kind of visible feature.

Initially screenshots from X3 terran conflict, then just edited using GIMP.

These are great ship designs. How am I supposed to get them into DW so I can use them?

This is in WIP still (work in progress I guess) but I think you can use another mod that is already released and replace only the images you want with these.

Not currently released, I haven't finised the set fully where i'm happy with them so won't release them until that point. Currently i'm trying to get the state and private vessels looking somewhat different as the general theme and colour for my military ships just don't fit right when it comes to civillian ones.

Data, Thanks for the fast reply. I'm kinda new to this game, and I just wasn't sure if I could use the downloadable attachment for something. I'll look at the released mods now.
