Just something I thought could be fun. All panzers go south. Anything with tracks and/or wheels.

In the north, it will be only infantry. They will push up to defensive positions (encircling whatever they can) and prepare for winter


just playing against the computer here and this might be and will probably be a total german disaster.

Be sure to send most RR units down south as well (1 north, 2 center, 2 south maybe), otherwise you might get into some serious supply problems too soon.

In addition I doubt that you will be able to get any large encirclements in the center which might cause a very long and thus overextended front, but should be an interesting expeiment anyway.

I dont plan on going far in the center. I encircle that mass you see and killed them all. Ill play it by ear. Trench warfare center and north.

Every single soviet CU in the south has been trapped! Kiev within a few hexes.

Ok a little bit of a correction here. I left one motorized unit in the north. The motorized division took minsk.

Hey guys. Fast forward turn 21.

Operation cleanup went from a completely soviet empty front to (practicaly everything they owned was surrounded a few turns ago) to mud and more soviets breathing down the axis neck. Operation run like hell has begun .

The campaign in the south has netted 3.7 million soviets, and 10k soviet planes.


Hard to fathom how anyone rises up from that kind of blow, but the soviets are like Jason . You cant keep them down.

The northern/center front is quite, with a large buffer zone. Every axis unit there is dug in and well defended. There has not been a battle in that are since turn 4-5 or so.

The southern front is very dynamic, with many many large soviet armies surrounded and destroyed. Yet they still keep coming.


I fear the winter will be a harsh one for the wehrmarcht.

He is going to rip you apart south of Kiev. You have a huge exposed flank with nothing to stop him.

Okay, you will have weak forts. Get those mountain troops into position and dig them in. Even the Romanians.

If you did not rip apart 5 million plus troops, he will cause you much pain. Maybe not in the north or central due to that huge buffer zone.

Those are not massive to the Russian[:D] now if you took out 6 million, then it would be massive. Massive will be what comes at you during the Blizzard[&o]

I had 4.8 million and held Moscow and Leningrad by turn 18 and still had a very unpleasant winter, so get ready for some fun, at least in the south

Heres the thing. I killed EVERY SINGLE FRIGGIN UNIT the russinas put in the south front till the muds hit. Well almost.

Maybe I should have pressed in the north with infantry as well.


I wonder if its possible to take leningrad with just infantry.
