How do you get rid of the icon SPWAW puts on your desktop?

If you delete it, it just comes back.

It shouldn't, the only time it might is after installing a patch. Other than that once you delete it it should be gone unless something is wrong with your Windows setup not allowing you to save changes to your profile. What Windows system are you running?
