Rough terrain in 1.03

What benefits are there to defending in rough terrain in 1.03? I see that they got rid of the 2x cv bonus, but is there any benefit left now?

Rough terrain is still the equivalent of a three level fort as far as I know.Should still be tough places to clear defenders out of.
