Playing the Soviets, I find that I am constantly low on trucks. I put most of my divisions on static, but are there any other tips for increasing the amount of trucks?

every motorized and tanks divisions could put in static and you are gaining hundred of truck and AP.

A motorized is gaining around 1k trucks and 15+ AP

A tank is gaining aournd .5k trucks and 15 AP

motorized div transforms into infantery div and costs 3 AP to reactivate, the gain is good.

Tanks div transforms into brigade, but the ap costs is as big to reactivate. You have better letting them and building 3 brigades for the same ap price.

The number one thing I do is try to minimize truck losses.  I haven't played a GC as soviet yet, but I am never having trouble with trucks in Road to- scenarios.  Do you pay attention to how you move your HQs (particularly those with large supply & fuel dumps)?  Airbases function similarly in that respect.

Disbanding airbases can help.

Yep, it seems like a typically Soviet problem. When I play as the Germans, I always seem to have tons of trucks.

Commencing in August 1941, the Soviet player will receive a fixed amount of supplies and generic vehicles per turn that varies by year as follows:



By 1944, at 4,000 a week you'll be swimming in trucks.
