Have a look a at the equipment editor from Andy Edminston.

Not sure if you can re-create the Battle of Hoth.

Also the 'Bio-Editor' which can be had at http://pagesperso-orange.fr/yves.lr/Bioed/Bioed.htm

Also Curt's 'ODD', I've not a link for that but maybe someone else has it.

It's way too extensible. I've even seen a Lord of the Rings boardgame style scenario floating around somewhere.

I have downloaded the TOAWIIIequipement editor. It seems that it must edit a equipement file. But I don't find a way to create this equipement file? Is it created automtically when you create a scenario?

The default .eqp is in the directory you installed the TOAW Eqp Editor.

It also in the TOAW graphics directory since the 3.4 Patch. But don't overwrite it.

Klink told me of a tutorial pdf for the equipement editor. I don't find it. I f someone has the link I am interested or any document to help understand what everything means (though I will get an idea by reading again the TOAWIII rules but I might miss some interaction).

Ach Kameraden... it's where all the other docs are. If you can't find it; visit the Gefechtsstand and I'll email it.

ok, I have found it. but it was not in the short cut. Did not install correctly maybe BUT it was in the folder. Sorry I should have llok there first (I have look in the equipment editor folder but not the TOAW Folder).

Thought it is the old Bioed, not the new editor. I htink I will manage to find out the differences.

I've also got a version of the 'Bio-Editor' that doesn't need the COW Executable:

Sorry, I never got round to writing a manual for it I'm afraid. [:(]

Oberst, it appears you're running my version of the BioEd rather than the one posted the link to - that's probably where some of the confusion came from.

Andy.

I wonder what some of the value mean. I have read the manual and still wonder about some value :

_ volume
_ Weight
_ shell Weight
_the different type of armor
_ shock cavalry
_ Infantry (what does it impact exactly? the number of shot only or the movment rate too?)
I don't think of other now.

The link is still in my startup folder. Not anymore though. And yes, I got your latest version. Any chance to donate a few kiwi$ to your paypal account? Good work has to be rewarded!

Can some one confirm the following thngs :

Volume is express in cubic meter and is usefull only for vehicle
Volume for infantry should be 999 and have no bearing
Weight is in Kg

What should I put in DF value for tank?

What exactly mean Kinetic anti-armor?
Difference between laminate and composite armor? They look the same as far as I know.

Two design question :

I intend to use Armoured and Infantry setting for the power armor of the spacemarine. Do you see any trouble doing this?

Is there a problem to include MG and other heavy weapon in Infantry squad? Should I had value? Should I made them separate value to represent the increase number of shot?
