Seeing as the makers of this fine game are from Germany, I'd like to send my congratulations and commiserations on Germany's 2nd place in the World Cup.

Much as I wanted Germany to win (I was barracking for them) they were without their striker and Brazil was kicking arse and taking names the entire world cup.

Still, they came 2nd last time, and you guys are hosting in 2006. Hopefully the pattern will continue and it will be a home town victory for Deustchland! (sp?)

I'm sorry, but next champion will be Spain If referees allow it, of course...

Consider youself lucky your country at least has a team capable of making it to the world cup.

Yeah, but they will forever suck diddly uck because we're one of those lame-o countries that calls it "soccer".

I didn't even know what offside was until I asked someone to explain it to me a couple of weeks ago.
Most aussies aren't that different, so it's not surprising we're not WC material.

Football in America means hitting people, and not really applying the foot to the ball all that much. But it's still fun.

Soccer is kewl too. My cousin kicks arse at it. Even I can't keep up with him anymore.
