I'm playing the "Road To Moscow" (though I have this problem with all the scenarios)...and all my HQs are 30+ away from the railheads (my units are suffering as a result). Should I being doing something to accelerate rail repair. Or am I not understanding supply?

You can manually use FBD units to repair 3 or 4 hexes of rail per turn. The automatic rail repair is much slower. In addition, you can use air transports to drop fuel and/or supplies, or, if the situation is critical, do an HQ buildup for a single corps at a time.

I haven't played the Road to Moscow scenario, but there should be something like a rail repair unit or two hanging around, with a name that includes 'FBD' (I think). They have the same symbol as the automatically deployed rail repair units, but a lot more men. You move them along the rail line and when they are over a damaged rail, you get an option to repair for 3 mp. It's in the manual, though I don't recall the section right now.

You actually have two in that scenario I believe. One down near Brest-Litovsk, and one up north.
