Game music

I have found the musics to be in the SOUND folder, they're .wma files that have been renamed to .SFX. Is there a way to add your own songs in without deleting the old ones? I couldn't find a file that lists the soundtrack songs, so it might be in the exe.

I would say rename 1025-1034 and copy new files with that name. But you can test it for yourself.
You can ply the .sfx files with VLCfor example.

P.S.: I did a short test and it worked. I could hear Bach when i saw the starting screen where you can select the options. So it may work if you are playing the game. I don`t know if there are problems when the files are too big and you haven`t enough RAM.

I would like to not touch the original files... I have some Navy march music from different countries, WW2 era, that would (imo) fit well into the game. I know I could always disable the music and use a playlist in, say, winamp, with the game's original tracks mixed in.

There is no file or list that determinates which files are background music. That`s written in the exe file. But You know the files which are the background music. That`s files 1025-1034.
You also know that there aren`t files with the number 1035-1039. Maybe you are lucky and these destignated as background music. You have to test it

Could try that, or just go with the Winamp since I have no mp3 to .wma converter at the moment...
