CEAW won't launch

Hi I installed the game. I get the "Game menu" screen from where I can start the game, open the manual etc. But when I want to start the game, nothing happens. Any idea?

Not really - what OS are you on? Have you done anything other than just install the game? Where did you install to?

Hi my system info is in the pic.
I just tried to install the game . Installation seems sucessfull but the game won't start. I double click then nothing happens.
The game is installed here: C:\Matrix Games\Commander Europe At War
I bought the game long time ago and to be honnest, I think I was never able to make it work. I just want to give it another chance...
In fact I also would like to buy other versions of the game [Napoleonic, ww1] but I am afraid that problem will be same.
Any help welcomed.

One more precision. The install file I am using is this one:
CommanderEuropeAtWar-SetupRelease-V1DR
And applying the patch doesn't help: CommanderEuropeAtWar-Update-v102DR

I, too, am having launch troubles. Up until today, I have played it successfully a couple of dozen times. Now, the map choice screen will not appear when "Play Commander" is clicked. It displayed "display does not support 1270", but nothing has changed in my settings or operating system, and it always worked formerly. After several re-tries, even the "display does not . . " message will not appear. Any suggestions? Thanks.
