You didn't look closely enough -- a turreted gun is also part of the weapon system. But also, there is the organization . . . in SPWAW you only get them in platoons . . . not in companies. Company structure has it's own benefits that can not be gained by simply buying platoons - especiall when using C&C (and why would you not use C&C).
