I was thinking of purchasing Harpoon's Ultimate Edition, and was wondering if the version being sold now is 3.10.1a or would I have to download the latest Patch to get up to speed? I only have access to dial up and 299 mgb would take forever to download.

I don't know which HUE version is shipping but the HUANW 3.10.1a or whatever it is being called update is only 46.4MB.

Thanks for the info. I guess I clicked on the wrong patch when I was checking it out. I could probably handle 46 meg with dial up.

Your terminology is confusing though.

3.10.1a is H3/ANW (this is the 46MB file and does update the original HUE release)

2009.050 is HUCE/HCE/HC (this is the HUE release version and the file on the download page should be on the HCE download page, not the HUE download page. there is no patch for HUCE).

I went ahead and ordered the new Ultimate Edition, so I hope it is either patched up all the way or only needs the 46 mgb patch. When I went to the patch page I clicked on the patch for HCE mistakenly and the 299 mgb patch was scary. Looking forward to trying H3/ANW. I have always played the original Harpoon up to HCE, but never got around to trying H3. Tried playing Harpoon 4.1 paper rules ,but my eyes are too shot to read all the data sheets so I better stick to the computer versions. By the way, thank you for all the hard work and improvements you have made to Harpoon. Iv'e enjoyed the game for many years now.
