New Matrix Games Site

For those who read slowly or like to savor a look at things, the new site "rolls" from screen to screen just too quickly. I would guess that anyone vaguely dyslexic (some of whom may be game mavens and can "see" a whole strategy all at once) might find it really disruptive. Just a thought, cut the "roll rate" roughly in half and give us slower browsers a break.

I really don't like the rolling screens at all...it rolls too fast and is distracting when reading other areas on the page.

I hate websites with rolling/animated stuff, I find them annoying and distracting.

+1, although others are worse than here. It's just plain annoying to have the pic and link change just as you are about to click on it.

I thought maybe I was the only one that did not like the new style. I hate it. New is not always better. I miss the old sites look where the newest news was at the top and I could scroll down at my own rate. A quick look and I knew what was what. [X(]

Hmm! I haven't looked at the main matrix games site in many years now, didn't even know it had been changed, lol.
My only wish would be that the main forum properly tells me what threads have new posts in them, and which ones don't. For some reason, that has glitched up on me for quite a long time now. It used to be a simple color-coded system that worked very well...

Agreed...adopting the latest and greatest "new thing" in web page technology isn't always the best idea. I guess I just have to get into the habit of clicking on "View all" reflexively to get a viewable listing.

i can't make out what's new at a glance anymore so for me it's easier to just go to the news thread in the forums. the main page looks like 100 products being thrown at me at once and just confuses me. maybe i'm just getting old...

Gosh, I never saw the "View all" until you mentioned it. That works well for me too. Now I will just use that from now on. Thank you so much! [&o]

Just a quick note: if you put your mouse cursor over the part of the page that is "scrolling" that you want to read, it will stop the cycling so you can take your time to examine the information there.
Secondly, we are not ignoring your comments here. We'll take a look at the issues you've brought up and see what we can do. Thanks for the feedback!

I've done that and it helps. However, I for one miss the old style. I love new technology so it's not that I'm an old fogy, well, I am but that's beside the issue.

I'm glad you are watching this feedback.

would it offend you if I asked the reason and the why of the "EMO Child" Picture? Perhaps if you explain it to an old guy like me I won't find it so distasteful......unless that is what you want.
