What does the editor consist of?

Does it include a scenario edtor?

If so, how easy is it to create small scenarios?

Full editor for maps and units. Even years outside of WWII. You can mod just about everything.

If you've used an editor in other games you should be able to throw together a small scenario quickly.

J2D,

Many thanks. You have pushed me closer! Only the fact that there are several other attractive Matrix, Slitherine and Battlefront games on the horizon is making me waver.

I am after a traditional, fairly simple, but plausible war game. This is subjective I know. Some of the games I have bought recently are (for me) too complex (War in the East, Command Ops BftB, Decisive Campaigns). Some are good fun but too simple and lacking in realism (Battlefield Academy). ATG is very attractive and I will most likely purchase it (particularly with the discount), but I prefer the grand tactical scale of Combat Command.

Is this likely to also fall into the too complex pile?

Help appreciated!

I don't yet have the game.

I have surmised it is not as complex as other wargames out there.

I'm not a counter pusher. I went from squad level games to JTCS and Flashpoint Germany at platoon level to CC at company level. It was easy enough to get started and play a battle but the manual that we had was for the older game and the math boggled my mind.

If you are use to counters I think it would all fall into place. The counters give good info and there are popup windows for other things.
