I thought I would try this again with pictures. Here is how the game looks when I open it up.

And here is what the demo looked like that I would prefer. One poster told me to try to use settings and the "Textured" setting but as you can see in the picture above that is not an option.

the game picture is from Harpoon ANW (formerly known as Harpoon 2 & 3), while the demo is from Harpoon Commander's Edition, an offshoot from the original Harpoon PC game, aka Harpoon Classic.
Two different beasts, with two different dev teams
That's why you can't make the former look like the latter.

Edit : If you bought Ultimate edition, you do also have the Commander's Edition game, which will look like the demo.

Thanks you. I did buy the Ultimate edition. How do I access the Commander's edition?

Well, if you didn't tell the installer not to do so, it should have installed Commander's Edition and put an icon on your desktop.
