I disbanded the 53rd Rum AT Battalion only to find that thenumber of 47mm AT guns in the pool did not rise ie still zero; further investigation shows that this unit is equipped with 47 mm SA 35 gun (with a german picture) whereas the other Rum units are equipped with 47 mm 47/40 gun (with a Rum picture). If this bug has been reported before apologies.

The default gun in the TOE is the 47mm 47/40.

So this Rumanian unit is equipped with the wrong gun....

Either way, they will either a) not fire them or b) fire them and not do any damage ---

Much as I love my Rumanians, I don't ever expect very much of them. a three-corps assault on Odessa is usually the best I can get from them, plus a lot of alarming rushing about the sabres in open spaces.

You could use them to cover your flanks...

The SA 47mmm sounds likea French piece with which the Rumanians may well have been equiped.

The problem here is when I revised the Rumanian OOB and added these anti-tank battalions, there were no Rum. AT Battalions in the database. So I added German AT battalions, renamed them, and equipped them with these French 47mm guns because they were the only ones available at the time. Some weeks after I added these units, they were added to the database and I never got around to rebuilding them properly. All I need to do is go into the editor, select the correct OB, and the rebuild them.

some of the Romanian units also have the german 81mm mortar; when you disband thse they appear in the pool in the captured section.....

Note to Gary: Remove the disband unit function from the game system.
