Aircraft Replacement Rates & Dates

For those who want it I've created a modified scenario 17 for each month from 1 May 42 to 1 December 44 and noted all the aircraft replacement rates and dates. Attached is the zip file containing 2 text files (allied & Japanese). I'm also working on a leason learned text file for the campaign editor. I'll post it in the next few days.

Feedback appreciated.

Updated files with Rich Dionne's upgrade paths added. Enclosed are 3 documents: 1 MS Excel format, 1 .rtf format and 1 .txt format.

Maniac,

Yes the replacement rates are monthly. Though I have seen some variability in the day to day arrival of replacement aircraft, but it seems to balance out at the end of each month.
i.e. Kittyhawk/Warhawk might be 4/5 one day and 5/5 the next.
I hope this answers your question.

I believe the B17G was not deployed to the Pacific and should be removed from your list. I believe only the E and F version were used until they wore out in the Pacific and heavy bomber groups used the B24 or PB4Y.

Indyshark is right the B-17G was not used in the Pacific because it was too short legged! The B-24 had the range and payload over the B-17. Correction, some were used as Dumbo's at the end of the war, I think.

IndyShark & Capt Cliff,

I don't control the replacement rates for the B-17G, or any of the aircraft listed, Matrix does. I just listed what aircraft replacements appear in the game. As far as the B-17G goes I agree with you. But if you look at the upgrade paths, the B-17E upgrades to the B-24D and there are no B-17G air groups in the allied OOB. So the end result is that even though the allies get 12 B-17G's a month starting 1 Sep 43 they have no way of using them.

BTW updated the attachment on the first post in this thread.
