As the Jap player, if we withdraw squadron earlier than the withdrawal date, I understand we are supposed to get PPs for them. However, I saw some inconsistencies in this rule and was delving into it by editing the scenario editor for a later start to double check. It seems that for some squadrons, withdrawing them early does NOT give PPs. Does anyone have any idea why some squadrons give PPs when withdrawn early and some do not?

I checked for both cases when the squadrons would and would not return, but cannot find any patterns...........

Edit: I think I found the key, restricted units do not get PPs for early withdrawal.............. Yay for learning yet another titbit!
