Unable to click any menus on game start or load

Sometimes can load a game and from there on I can't click anything. I can't even click the quit game menu.
It almost seems as if the GUI window is not painting/refreshing correctly.

Do you have screen shots? Could you attach a save game that this consistently happens with?

Have you tried alt-tabbing in and out of the game. Sometimes that helps.
