Fuel Costs

G'day,

If I look at the stats for an armoured car I see the fuel cost to move is 5.

Now if I form up a new unit made up of eight armoured cars I've now got a fuel cost of 8 x 5 = 40 per hex (assuming I moving along a railroad).

So if I then look at the logistics stats for the aforementioned unit I get the 'fuel moved' cost. Move one hex and it's 40 as I'd expect.

If I continue moving the unit one hex at a time the fuel expenditure tracks on a linear 40 per hex. That's moving it one hex at a time continuously until it runs out of APs.

But if I do a normal move of the same unit - all in one go - along the railway tracks then the fuel cost appears to jump exponentially.

For example moving the unit ten hexes, one hex at a time, costs 400 fuel which is what I'd expect (10 x 40).

But moving it the same ten hexes, all at once, the fuel cost jumps to 800.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Cheers,
Lancer

Just to confirm, does this bug exist with all units that use fuel?

G'day,

I think so.

Tested it with trucks as well as armoured cars. Same effect.

Should be patched soon from Vic's post above.

Cheers,
Lancer
