Hey all fairly new player here taking a crack at an AAR. I will be playing the Allies.
Here is the setup:
Scenario 2, FOW-on, Adv Weat - on Damage control-on PDU_on Historical-off 7th surprise-off no unit withdrawal-off PP paid for moving restricted units. Allies can only move pre-existing TF's on turn 1 Japs wont take advantage of turn 1 movement bonus 4e's must fly above 6000 feet.

As i'm fairly new i can use any and all advice.
Turn one moves for me were to run east and south with my carriers. And trying to flee south my any british TF's i could find.
Thanks in advance for any advice and hope its an enjoyable read.

very interesting start.  So, it appears he is a more experienced player?  Giving up the first turn magic moves as the IJ is a pretty big deal.

December 7, 1941.  A few thoughts on todays events. The attack on the PH came and went with very good results. After all the bombs and torps that were dropped only 1 ship rests on the bottom on Pearl Harbor, and that was a destroyer. I sortied a few of the BB's to the west coast to be repaired there. My guess is that he might hand around for a second day since he had such poor results on day 1.
 
PI Here i iniated Operation Lost Hope and scattered the shipping in the PI to the 4 winds hoping that some will survive. He made only 1 landing here so far at Iba. I bought one group of b-17D's and transfered them out of the PI.
 
Malaya I ran south with my shipping here trying to save all that i can. He is ignoring the northern landing sites and going straight for Mersing in the south.
 
OZ Loaded up some troops and some engineers in Darwin and sent them to Port Moresby.
 
In all not a bad turn for me. Alot depends on whether he sticks around PH with the KB. I hoping not

December 8, 1941 As i figured would happen the KB decided to stick around PH for another day and pound my fleet a bit more. Better results todays as he sinks 2 BB's and a CA, and a few smaller ships.
 
PI A win for me here today as my of my subs coming out of Manila Bay for a patrol came across the CL Kuma and put 2 torps into her and she sank. My shipping here continues to flee away from the IJN, although he did sink a couple af AK's most are making good their escape so far. Mini KB seems to be trolling the waters of North PI.
 
Malaya  Mersing fell today to a shock attack.
 
DEI Miri fell today and i think Kuching is next, i sent a TF of Brit cl's and dd's to kuching to see if the invasion TF is escorted or not. Might get to have some fun here.
 
WestPac The Saratoga with some destroyers in tow is headed for the Aleutians to forestall and move in this direction.
 
If anyone sees any glaring things i'm doing wrong or any tips please feel free to let me know.

December 9, 1941
 
PH the kb retired after 2 days of pounding Pearl. no more of the damaged ships there have sunk, although i have a DMS at 96 float damage which i fear i will lose, and the Tennessee is at 86 float damage, holding my breath she wont sink. My carrier TF's are returning to PH by a roundabout route.
 
Hong Kong HK survives another day. But a group of transports that left trying to get to safety was savaged by a DD group.
 
Malaya A bomber from Singapore found the CA Aoba and put a 500 lb down down her gullet, not sure how bad she was hurt.
 
West Coast A troop and supply convoy is forming up in San Fran, destination The Aluetians.
 
Thats about it for today.
