DVIX Program

Is this thing supposed to do anything in THE GAME? I just got the latest patch and the matrix intro graphics do not run
till the wasteland logo comes up (this has been the case from day one). Does any one know how to contact the Wasteland company? I have even tried playing the game without the DVIX(or is it DIVX) before the last patch i just downloaded and it seemed to function OK.
I ask this because i keep getting updates for the thing and it keeps wanting to be my media program of choice. If this keeps up I will have to delete the game all together. Shame as it seems like a nice game

DVIX is only used for the intro movies.
Just continue to hit escape to get to the start menu.

I think there was an option to not install Dvix when I went through installation. I chose to not install it, and the game plays fine, though I dont get the intro movie then.

The only way I can get the intro movie to play (with or without DIVX) is to run the game windowed. In this mode, the intro movie runs fine on my computer WITHOUT DIVX. In full screen mode, it won't run the intro movie even with DIVX which I have now uninstalled. I found DIVX to be a pain in the ass.
I'm running on a netbox - dual core, 64 bit Atom processor and NVIDIA Ion graphics processer. Windows 7 home premium.
