Finns

Occasionally someone asks about the Winter War and the Finns. If PCO is successful and we have a budget maybe there can be expansions with other countries. Spanish Civil War would be nice too.
Meanwhile you can mod the game with xmls for different country units. Mobius made infantry and gun (small arms)xmls for Italian and Romanian troops. They use the German soldier models and skins.
You can do the same for the Finns. In addition, you can take existing Soviet T-26s and rename the xml to Finn, country to German, and use the same model. If you have the graphics talent, you could make a new skin with Finnish markings and make a new model with the existing 3d model and your new graphics, then point the xml to that new model.
In the scenario editor you can change the unit name to whatever you want.
I took the CMBB Finn flag and icon graphics and converted them with Paint.net to work with PCO. Obviously these are copywrited materials and cannot be included in the game but I wanted to show the possibilities. I used JSGME to install them so that I can switch back to German when I finish the Finnish.
