Hi All,

When I try to boot the demo I get a BlueScreen of Death. Windows has told me the shut down is caused by McAfee antivirus but even with it disabled it still crashes.

I play many Games from matrix and am not having any problems...

The demo plays fine on my wife's laptop so it's not corrupted.

It seems like a fine game that I'd love to purchase but if the demo crashes I'm afraid the full game will be the same...

I checked for new drivers and I'm in good shape.

If the demo doesn't run properly on your machine then the full version won't either. So you are right, we need to get the demo running right on your machine before you purchase the full version.

I have a number of anti-virus products on my test machines but I don't currently have MacAfee. If the system thinks that the problem was centered around the anti-virus then I suppose that it was. But then you say that the demo crashed with MacAfee disabled. So that's a puzzle.

If the problem is not the anti-virus then hardware or, less likely, drivers are the most likely suspects. I have never had the game give me the blue screen of death.

Can you provide some details of your hardware, please? Make, model, any upgrades, etc. Which version of MacAfee are you using? Thanks.

Just for fun, you might want to really test your memory. Memtest86+ (www.memtest.org) seems to me to be the best free memory tester right now.

Tried again with anti virus off still no go. I have a dell Dimension E521, A 256mb nvdia Geforce 7300LE video card
SigmaTel High Definition Audio .

Played demo again on my Wife's Laptop I think I like it.

I attached a dxdiag file not sure if it helps.
