Random Game v AI AAR

A link to my little AAR, in pdf format, follows.

I'm just learning the ropes of what certainly is a great game. :)

http://www.swapdrive.com/file.asp?ID=tG ... M4zzg==url

The file is about one meg or so. It's not much, but is a beginning. I guess the file is good for five downloads. I suppose I'll have to find a better host.

Anyone wanting the AAR who was not able to get it here, PM me and I can get it to you.

Thanks,

Alan

Hey that "swapdrive.com" thing worked pretty well, no ads or popups, d/l pretty fast as well.
Anyways, thanks for your AAR, and yes the AI can be pretty unforgiving. And concerning ore: "Ore also became scarce, prompting most cities to add ore to the production line" You do know that you can upgrade the ore-hexes? It'll cost you PP's and you have to have an engineer unit on the ore-hex, but I prefer that above making my cities produce ore... they are not particularly good at it, same for oil. Only if you're really *really* desperate. [:)]

I do know you can upgrade ore hexes. And yes, I was desperate. :) The ore situation did eventually go away, and turned out to be not the least of my problems. I never really did commit to a strong defensive plan. The AI had no real plans to attack me across the water, so I wasted resources there. And air power was beginning to dominate, with my failure to get any fighters or AA units in place.

For a first time in truly looking into this game I suppose things aren't turning out that bad. I fear that should I continue, I will get steam-rolled.

Swapdrive is nice. It's part of my ISP. It limits the downloads to five, but simply putting up the file again would solve that problem.

Okay. Five more. :)

Remember, there's not much here, just one page in a pdf. I'm working on the next installment, as I get crushed and annihilated and pushed to the brink.

You don't have to worry about AI air drops. The AI does not make use of paratroopers. Perhaps in a future update to ATG or a future game in the series.
