I was reading up on the mathematics involved in the Initiative Determination Phase.
If the 2 sides are evenly matched and a player is a micro manager, it seems it is possible for a player to have 2 turns in a row.
Then the opponent would probably follow with 2 turns in a row.

Do you mean you go 2nd in the first turn and then after the initiative determination for the next turn you get to go first? That makes sense and adds an extra bit of excitement to the game. I'll have to have a look and see what I need to do
Cheers

In turn 6 you go second.
You then manage your troops so that in turn 7 you go first.
Its just a theory!

This just happened to me!
In the tutorial, the Axis played turn 1 and then turn 2! They got 2 turns in a row !

If you're sitting with more units disrupted than the other guy, then you have a malus for winning initiative. And then, don't forget that the person who won the initiative in the last test, gets a bonus again for the prediction of who wins initiative the next, and so on.
There are some other factors that come into the equation, like leadership rating, etc.

So it isn't only theory.
Often, very often, after a "hard fought" 1st turn, the defender became the player with initiative in turn 2. So He will take 2 turns in a row depleting better his force...
I always remember this when I'm defending ...
