Any way to stop the horrid grating sound when I mouse over icons?

Are you talking about the main game menu before you enter the game?

Yes, all the sound files are moddable, so you can replace it with a different sound or just remove it.

The mouse over sounds are in game as well as the main menu.

Which sound files do I delete?
