First report!
I took charge of Sauron and the dark minions.
Had 9 Political points (corresponding with 9 nazghul) and used them to:
* add a unit (oops.. should not have done that... lunaticus you might want to disable unit creation)
* 2 searches for the ring (got me to 5%)
* 1 troll unit bought
* Turned Haradrim (the elephant riders) to my side.
I am re-organizing the main Orc army of Mordor to set it up in 3 teams. 1 the assault wave. 2 the siege wave and a third army thats pure warg riders to do any flanking moves.
More info later on in the game!
best,
Vic

Second decennium. (as the pre ring war turns resemble 10 years)
Had 9 political points and used them for:
* 1 ring search
* turning Sauruman to my side
* turning Moria to my side
Basicly this gives me a very strong base to stop the ring early in its tracks.
Next turn i'll post a screenshot to spice up this AAR a bit.

Third decennium.
I did a lot of ring searches and bought some extra Mumakils, Trolls and other monstrous armies.
Observe that I am now at 42% ring knowledge. I want to get to the ringwar phase quick now.

And here a screenshot of the master plan in the south.
a. Uruk-Hai advance by Sauromans forces.
b. Meets up with the large and quick warg rider force. the combined forces of sauruman and wargs should crush or hole-up the rohirrim.
c. The Main strike force to assault Minas Tirith.
d. The southern forces plan to flank the river defenders of Gondor.

Fourth deccenium
Sauron appointed 1 of his Nazghul as a general in Moria.
Furthermore he blocked the Cadahras passes (3 nazghul cost) forcing the fellowship to move either through Moria or through Saurumans land.
Other nazghul were used to recruit cerebrain scouts (these be birds) and an extra orc legion in moria.
With last 3 nazghul is sent out wormtongue to subvert and confuse Gondor.
All in all Sauron is feeling very confident.

Fifth and Sixth deccenium.
In these 2 rounds i bought further reinforcement armies and legions and mostly positioned them in Moria, Dunland and Isengard.
Attached here is the grand military plan for the north. The plan is to use assembled forces at Moria, Dunland and one HQ from Sauruman (with associated forces) to role up all the victory points in the north. 3 phases are planned. a,b and c. In the final phase c it is planned the corsair fleet from way down south will join up for the final assault on the elven kingdoms.
The ringwar will probably start next round now...
Sauron is ready.

After 3 rounds into the ring war the plan is proceeding slowly according to plan.
Attached is a screenshot how you can see how my troops and armies progressed. As you can see they are partly on schedule.
The good:
-My southern armies (with the oliphants) are approaching almost unopposed.
-My Warg army is advancing as scheduled (through the dead marches)
-My troops are starting to commence the siege on Minas Tirith
The bad:
-Taking Tarbad on the Greyflood did not prove so easy as i thought. I have had 2 attempts to take the town by storm turn in to orc bloodhsed so far.
-Saurumans armies invading Rohan met a well prepared cavalry army and are afraid to venture out further onto the plains.
The Ring:
-In the north (unseen on screenshot) my nazghul are chasing the ring. So far the managed to kill 2 decoy parties and the hobbits have been very lucky.
Bindingly yours,
Sauron
