I would like to be able to make a Task Force for a port!

It does not take any longer going to the base to create the TF than going to the port. I dont see the problem with this at all.

Actually, I would like to see this, too. Yes, clicking on the base vs port is one point of view. However, I generally go to the port more often than the base, and always before making a TF because from the port one can view ship stats (ie, this transport TF needs escorts, so I need a couple DDs that have depth charges...). It's a simple addition to the port screen, and only makes sense to have it there.

BTW: how do folks keep track of ship stats without visiting the port screen first?

I guess it's a matter of preferences but I fuind that I miss the 'Form new TF' button on the port screen too.

If they could do this I would not complain that is for sure but bug fixing is their main concern at this moment. But who knows.........

I would also like to form TF from port.

tiger claw's suggestion is a good one! Having a create TF button in the port display screen is a good idea!
