Although I've only had PCO for a few days, I haven't experienced any adverse issues until MS sent my machine a security update for .4 NET for XP-Vista-Win 7 OS; I've have played 3 games since, and all 3 have suddenly closed -- with the obligatory "sorry but ... and you may have lost data" msg after abt the tenth turn.

Fortunately, the PCO autosave feature preserved my games and I only lost the turn the game closed in, but has anyone else experienced this issue after the recent MS NET security update?

I haven't seen that yet, Joe. Can you tell me the exact update that you think may have caused the issue?

This Tuesday's Microsoft .NET 4 security patch update, which I recall was in 2 parts, and which I finally installed yesterday as I have dial-up and these updates seem to take forever.

The patch was disseminated to all OS from WinXP to Win 7 and I have WinXP SP3.

Thanks, we'll check that and see if creates any issues on our test systems.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem before I reported it as a glitch.

I got dumped out of a game for a notification that an MS update was available. I had auto install of updates disabled to avoid such things, Now I've disabled checking for updates and will do it myself.
