AI Influence Mapping

Here's an article on Influence mapping, that's part of what I want to do with the AI eventually. By graphing what the AI knows about the other players AT/AP/Air/Naval strengths, the terrain for chokepoints and supply, and where casualties have occurred in past turns or even past games, I should be able to make Elmer plan ahead better. As always, the devil is in the details, but this is one piece that could really help Elmer analyze a position eventually.

I may also surface this to the player as a planning aid.

Nothing like that will happen for 3.5, this is for another version down the road.

I can just see it now. Ralph make Elmer remember what you do and learn so that you can never beat him. [X(]

The gold standard is to have him let you just barely win almost every time[:D]

Long, long way to go for that one. I'll be happy when he doesn't do stupid stuff.

Actually, it's only interesting if the AI beats the crap out of you first time in.

Then you've got a challenge.
