Air recon much slower in 1.04.22

I have the feeling that air recon is much slower in 1.04.22. I haven't measured this of course, but it seems much slower now, I have to wait like a couple of seconds after each recon mission. I haven't got the worlds hottest computer, but I have never felt any performance issues with WITE before. Everything else in the game is just as before performance wise.

Does it affect only Germans? If yes, I know what is causing it and will fix it.

It has always been slow to me so that is the reason that I set the delay to zero during recon. Zips by at two or three per second on that setting on both 1.03 and 1.04.
Perhaps your delay changed, maybe?

Yes, it seems so. I have no Soviet turn coming up now, but I don't recall noticing it when playing Soviets last time, and that was using 1.04.22.

Noticing the same thing. It's a very perceptible delay between the mission box being closed and the onmap detection level rising. I'm also noticing that there's a lag when one selects different options along the top bar (eg switching modes from movement to recon) with the new option not being instantly available but taking up to a second to be highlighted. Nothing has changed with background programs etc to explain it from my end.
System info in case it's relevant: win 7 64 bit home premium SP1, 4gb Ram, AMD 1055T processor, 1gb Radeon HD57xx gfx card.
edit: playing about, it's just switching to recon mode which has the lag. Other buttons seem fine when you switch to them. Happens whether I f5 or mouse click.

Another recon plane oddity that I've seen with 1.04.22:
During the partisan resupply phase, the Russian recon planes are being sucked in to help out with supplying the partisans (even though the recon planes are not based at VVS bases & they are not set to fly at night). Has anyone else seen this?
It's a pain because I'm losing tons of the good Soviet recon planes which are hard to come by.

Currently every plane which has non-zero max load can make air drops. Soviet recon planes usually were just reworked bombers, it makes them eligible for the partisan air supplies.

I thought that for partisan supply, the air group had to be set for night missions (Section 17.1.1 of the manual).

Sorry, missed a portion of info in your post. If group is located on non-VVS and non-DBAD/AD DD it shouldn't fly partisan supplies. The same applies to the groups with no night mission setting, regardless to the type.
So if you are witnessing them, please post a save (if it is not server game). It should be addressed. Thanks.

I don't have my old save game; however, some of the recon groups may have been based at DBAD type bases; however, all of the recon groups were set for day missions.
Okay, I put together a test case with all of the recon set to day missions. Attached is the "before" turn.

As the AXIS, AI recon seems ok but manual recon is very slow...well a couple of seconds anyway....and switching from F1 to F5 and vv is slow too; hope there is a fix...

Any hope for a hotfix or something for the recon delay problem? It's really dragging out the time recon takes, and a major annoyance.

The fix is out to testers. I've advised to release it as next public beta.
