Once I get done with Boot Camp, where would be a good place for this "90 Day Wonder" to continue my education without causing too much loss of life?

Thanks.

Oh, I did the tutorial first.

I'll give that scenario a go, but time is unfortunately up for today.

Thanks.

It would be interesting to see if these played differently in 60 second turns.

I went into the set battles menu to play the Winterstorm scenarios from the Soviet side.

Actually a table of scenarios with details of time / complexity (like in Command Ops:BftB) would be really useful if anyone could be bothered...
(unless there's one already in which case feel free to point out what a fool I am !)

If just starting out go with Germans. For a challenge go with Russians.

I've been looking for the same thing...I'd like to play some of the smaller scenarios prior to taking on a campaign.

In the scenario listing look down in the right hand corner when you have one selected. It shows the OOB and map size for each scenario.

That allows you to read the scenario description and to determine the size of the battle.

Each scenario is prefixed by the date.

So, we've given you the date of the battle, a description of it, what size the OOB is and what size the map is all on the same screen.

This scenario has a low unit density and a 1km map.

Good Hunting.

This is the most complex scenario in PCO. It's got a Very High unit density on a 2km map.

There are so many features in PCO it can take some time to appreciate them all.

We're happy to help.

Good Hunting.

You can also filter your choices by year by using the buttons on the lower left.

Another question...I've been using the random battle generator for smaller battles w/ 250 points or less. I don't recall seeing any reference to map size when selecting a map, i.e., I like smaller numbers of units to manage (for now) but I can't determine the size of the map.

Thanks.

That's in the wishlist thread. We beta guys know what size the maps are and no one thought about having a way to tell what size a map is. Maybe we can come up with a way to name the maps with a size or put it in the description that you get when clicking "Template".
