Task Force size AI

I had a problem with the game crashing. I found that Japan AI had created an escort task force with 250 ships. I was using beta version 1108m3,. It happen when the Japanesse fleet was evacuating Toyko. I was able to fix this by going back a couple of turns setting the game to head to head and creating 25 ship task forces.

Wow !!! I had no idea you could interrupt on on-going game that way. So lemme ask you this: if I do a save of an AI-vs-ME game and then go back to the main menu and set it for AI-vs-AI and then load a saved game it would play that game ai-v-ai ????

EDIT: never mind.......I've thought it out some more. Thanks anyway.

Have a fix for that to go into next build. (1108m6)

What I did was set the game to head to head. Then went in and changed it, That was the only way get passed the crashing,It took awhlie before I could figure out what was causing the problrm, it always crashed during the day naval movement phase.

The problem is the routine that evacuates damaged ships from a captured port. It failed to check for exceeding the 100-ship maximum for an escort TF. Who'd thunk a port would have 250 ships under repair?
